Chomp
Analyse the restaurant scene of any city: cuisines, counts and how complete each place's listing is.
What it does
Type a city and a radius. Chomp pulls every restaurant from OpenStreetMap and shows the cuisine mix, a data-completeness breakdown (phone, website, address) and a full list. The screenshot shows Yokohama: 1,314 places in 5 km.
How it works
- Flask back end querying the Overpass API
- Geocoding for any address
- Chart.js dashboards
